We were beyond happy. there is no beach right here but you are accessible to a short paved path and picnic table right out front. In addition you are a 10 min. walk to the Kahaluu Beach Park with some very good snorkeling. The amenities were all top notch: Stone floor, completely and beautifully equipped kitchen, comfortable sectional couches and large TV, 2 king beds and tons of space to put clothes. Washer, dryer, beach towels. One of the guests even provided and left for guests use some snorkeling equipment. There are also 2 boogie boards, beach chairs and mats for the beaches. The only caveat would be that you might want to think twice if you have toddlers as the wall between the master bedroom and the living room is a lovely pull out wall with paper in wood frames. Hard to describe but a little toddler might tear it or go through it. You could just push it back into the wall during the day if you don't mind having the bedroom open to view. The second bedroom which faces out on some lovely landscaping and part of parking lot is smaller. The larger one has a view of the ocean and direct access to the deck. I would highly recommend this condo. We shared it with another couple.

High-end finishes abound... from the appliances, to the furnishings, to the thoughtful details. Integrated surround sound is a very nice touch. The views from the lanai are even better than the photos! 50 feet from the waters edge. Sleep to the waves crashing (not so "gentle" in early March), with all the doors and windows open at night. There is not AC, but with the fans it is still very comfortable, at least in the oceanside bedroom. There is a small rocky beach on the far side of the property. You can't really swim (at least when we were there) but it is pleasant if you take the beach mats and chairs provided. The one downside to the property is the pool. While large, it isn't particularly nice, and has virtually no view at all. Not a huge deal, but you likely won't spend much time there. A large shopping center is nearby with grocery, restaurants, movie theater, gas, etc which is convenient. Downtown Kona is just 10-15 min North, an easy drive. I highly recommend this unit!

Many a meal was prepared here in a fully stocked kitchen and if we didn't have the proper equipment...the property owner & Kona concierge was fantastic at responding to us and delivering what we needed within the hour. Great service! The waves crashing along the rugged shore were an appreciated white noise, paired with glorious sunsets every evening...a true delight! We wouldn't hesitate to come back to this location to stay here again. Aloha!

From the moment we walked into this amazing property we knew we were in paradise! It was exactly as described & more. The wrap around lanai was my favorite place. It was our first time on the Big Island & the condo is a great location. Just a short walk north of the property we saw turtles basking in the sun & swimming. We even were privileged to see a monk seal taking a rest on the beach. We will be back. Thank you for a beautiful vacation.

The appliances were all the best. Even the sheets were very luxurious. The ceiling fans in each room was especially appreciated during the hot weather we had in November! The owners gave so many welcomed instructions for the television, Wi-Fi, appliances, etc. There was no guessing on how anything operates. The info was all there!! The only suggestion would be to install a ceiling fan on the lanai. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. Activities that we enjoyed was the Fair Winds morning snorkel. It was so easy to get on/off the boat from a stairway directly into the water. The fish were abundant and the bay was calm. We also enjoyed the mai tai's at Sam Choys! The Fish Hopper downtown has great fish (ono) and chips! You MUST try it! I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to friends!
