There was someone on the property who would smoke on their lanai every morning and the window aircon would pull the smoke into the unit, leaving the entire place smelling horribly of smoke. This would wake us up every day of our trip at an unacceptable time.
Aloha Joseph, Thank you for staying with us at Kona Pacific A306. We are sorry to hear about the experience you had with smoke. The complex does not allow smoking on Lanais or any common areas. Loved how close it was to all the restaurants and shopping. Not a bad drive from the airport either! The parking is rough if you have a bigger vehicle. Luckily we changed from a truck to a mini suv otherwise we couldn’t have parked in the garage. The washing machine smelled pretty bad like mildew. The umbrellas don’t “umbrella”. It down poured rained and the rain goes directly through them. And the ants on the counter were a bit annoying. The ant killer wasn’t killing them, they were going in and right back out of it. Probably need to spray.

We have included in the property description that parking is for a compact to Midsize vehicle only. We will have maintenance address your reports of a washing machine odor. The home is under regular pest control, but with the recent rains, we are seeing pests like ants come inside to avoid the weather. We will look into scheduling an additional service. Fantastic location walking distance to event base for Ironman World Champs. Very clean comfortable & relaxing place to stay. Great kitchen with every appliance you could possibly need. Loved that there was an awesome coffee machine & big fridge for all the supplies!! Amazing view & lovely pool to relax in pre & post race. We loved staying here & would highly recommend.
