A most amazing place! The view from the balcony is beautiful, and there is almost anything you could want included. The spotting scope came in handy for viewing the school of dolphins that came in close one morning. So many restaurants and shops nearby to check out, no need to hop in your rental car. Having a covered parking space was really nice as well. Would highly recommend booking here! ( just not at the same time we plan to return 😎).

Kona Ali'i 705 is a fabulous unit for a visit to Kailua-Kona. The location is right on the water's edge, walking distance to many places to eat, has a dedicated parking spot for just 705, feels very secure, great sunset views from the lanai and sunrise views from the upper veranda. The upper outside veranda, by itself is a unique and remarkable feature to be enjoyed. The unit is very well appointed with a large fully cable connected TV in the main room and two smaller TVs in the two bedrooms, lower and upper. The unit has ample and well placed USB charging ports built into conveniently located electrical receptacles, a very useful feature. Most lights have adjustable light levels and the bathroom lights turn on upon entry. The curtains and sun shades, internal and external, are operated by switch and automatically stop. There is a very modern kitchen with efficient dishwasher, large refrigerator and freezer unit, microwave and stove (not a common item in rented units) and an electric tea kettle. This kitchen even has something very rare in rental units, it has a full set of sharpened knives neatly attached to a magnetic holder conveniently located in the kitchen. We have never experienced a rack of sharp knives in 40 years of renting units, we always travel with a knife sharpener to remedy this. Sharp knives were an unexpected treat. The separate laundry room has a full sized and modern washer and dryer The unit is walking distance to large grocery stores or one can drive. Easy access to the main road to visit Hawi or Captain Cook and Volcano/Hilo. It is simply a marvelous unit and location. I recommend it highly, our expectations were exceeded. Staying on the 7th floor of this wing of Kona Ali'i has been a bucket list destination since we stayed in a unit on the 3rd floor in 2010.

The condo is first class in a great location.

Loved the view!!!! Saw whales and Dolphins from the balcony! Close to restaurants and shopping. My husband loved being able to swim the Ironman course every morning !! Would definitely stay here again!!
