There’s nothing about the property that would make me not stay again. The condo itself was perfect for two people. It might be a little crowded for a family of four. I don’t think the hide a bed is very comfortable. It looks older, but we did not use it. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable enough to sleep maybe a little bit harder than my preference, but I slept fine. They do give you notice before they shut the water off . During our stay It was on Wednesdays from 9 to 1. We had plenty of time to get up and make breakfast and shower before we headed out for the day or just went for a swim in the pool. The location for this property was perfect. We were very close to Kona and many restaurants and stores. If your primary purpose is to visit many of the beaches, most of them are to the north about a 30-to-50-minute drive. There are some closer by, but they’re small and somewhat crowded. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, even if it’s older. This condo is very close to the beachfront pool and the swimming pool. We loved the little beachfront area and relaxing under the palm trees, watching the waves. It was clean and restful. The bathroom is beautifully remodeled, the kitchen was very well stocked. The washer and dryer were really nice to have. There was beach chairs, and kids toys plus an umbrella for the beach which we found very helpful. There’s not much shade on the beaches so definitely bring your umbrella along. This condo is placed over the breezeway. I was concerned cars were driving through, but they do not. It’s a walkway( which means there’s no condos below you which is kind of nice). Parking was fine when we were here, we had to park in the parking lot outside the gate once, which is all of maybe 10 extra steps, so it was no big deal. There was plenty of towels and the shower and air conditioning were great. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Kona. If you’ve never been to Kona, there is a newer Safeway, which is a wonderful place to shop for food. The Walmart doesn’t have many food items so I wouldn’t bother there for groceries. If you have little kids look up the beach for Queens Bath ( kids beach). You have to park by the aquatic center, and then walk across the fields and head towards the left corner facing the ocean where the gate is. It’s only about 10 minutes from the condo and it’s perfect for little ones.
