We visited in February, 2015 with 3 couples. Spent lots of time on the lanai bbqing, cooking, and enjoying the pool. Food recos: 1. Umeke's & Da Poke Shack for poke 2. Broke da Mouth Grindz for local Filipino/Hawaiian food. Salty but delicous plates. 3. Green Flash Coffee has great coconut lattes, & regular/breakfast sandwiches 4. Fried chicken @ Safeway is pretty good! Get the Safeway membership to save $. No cost or membership fee required. Site recos: A lot of the beaches on the Kona side were rockier than usual as the sand washes away this time of the year (Feb.). With that in mind, the nearest place we found sea turtles was @ Kahaluu Beach Park! They come up real close and it's shallow enough to swim with them comfortably! For a sandy beach, about 15-20 minute drive north, Hapuna Beach is essentially your ideal dream beach. Sandy, shallow waters. Great for all!

Great location with a breathtaking view but also a quick drive to the coffee shop on the beach, Safeway, and restaurants. We enjoyed grilling Ahi and eating on the lanai. It was a wonderful decision to stay here rather than at the 4 star hotel for the entire vacation. I am completely satisfied with the house and the service with Kona Coast Vacations.

It looks even better in person and the views are stunning. Most of our time was spent in the pool and lanai. The interior is bright and well decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. The location is great with a couple of beaches a few minutes by car. The only downside to this house is leaving it behind.

We finally did showers in the evenings to have enough for quick showers. Needs a Renai water heater. Beautiful island and wonderful locals to talk to. Lots of beaches to visit. Be sure to go out on a boat for reef snorkeling and dolphin swim.

It does get a bit warm without air conditioning, but the house cools down nicely as soon as the sun goes down. Will be Back to this home.

Beautiful views, landscape, pool, neighborhood,good location (close to everything in Kona),and decorated beautifully. Has every single thing your own home has! Only draw back was it doesn't have AC. It was quite hot & humid when we visted ( would have been nice to be able to get a break from that humidity.
