Condo is beautiful inside. Outside property is very nice and well maintained but a little dated. Pounding surf noise is fantastic. Bring a frisbee or badminton racquets... community grassy area right outside (although you can’t hear or see anything other than ocean and surf from the unit). Great kitchen. Easy access to shopping. Feels very safe with gated access to parking. Pool area is clean and the Hawaii sun is magical. Although I never did contact them, the property manager was terrific about getting me information on the condo (and things to do and see on the big island). They seemed eager to assist me if there was anything we needed. Walk north of the condo project and there’s a path to a public beach with sea turtles and some ancient Hawaiian rock structure. 15 minute drive to the Captain Cook monument trailhead if your looking for a good hike (not too easy to get back up). 5 minute drive to the Kona Country Club if you’re looking to golf. We enjoyed the location... far enough away from the crowds of Kona and magic sands but a quick drive to town when we wanted. No negative surprises. The pictures are a good representation of what you get... except the ocean view and the noise of the pounding surf which can’t be captured in a picture. Beautiful.

Thank you - we had an amazing time in Kona at Surf & Racquet. The beautiful views - watching whales from the deck, the great kitchen to cook delicious meals, great linens, proximity to grocery, super washer/dryer in unit - i can go on and on. FIVE STARS

We had a lovely 2 weeks at Kahaluu Bay, Surf and Raquet Club. The condo is extremely well equipped for cooking. Bedrooms are both very comfortable, nice to have 2 kingbeds. Lanai has great views of the sunsets. We would certainly rent this condo again.
