Kids loved having their own "apartment" and walking across the street to play in the tide pools. Not that TV was central to the trip, but an update would be nice.

What an awesome place, love Hawaii in general and this house was every thing that we needed. Great position all amenities great. Would recommend this as a perfect holiday destination.

There were eight of us who stayed comforatably in this house. Half were from on-island, two from OAhu and two from the East Coast. Everyone loved the house and the area. The house is well equipped with everything we needed to make the meals that we did eat at the house. The items left in the cupboards by previous guests were all dated with writing on the outside of the bottles. The fresh flowers greeting us were great. The carpet was white, and my wife loved how soft it felt (I think it is a berber) although over the years it was not perfectly white, but only slightly visible in high wear areas. The house was clean throughout and the pool area was were we congrgated, swam, ate and hung out. The house even has WiFI, and we could have called the owners to use the wireless ith a password, but we just plugged our laptop into the cord in the kitchen and used it there. The individual airconditioners were great. Some people used thiers and some didn't, whcih was much better than central air upstairs where individuals would not have a choice. The Real Estate Co. that managed the property answered the one question wqew had promptly and helpfully. The neighborhood is gated so we felt super safe and relaxed. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The ads on the VRBO website and other websites that list this property ACCURATELY depict what you will receive. We will and have recommended this place to friends and family already, We love the privacy of Kona Bay Estates, along with the closeness to the center of Kona (1/2 mile to Kona pier). Aloha!!
