What a beautiful house-like one featured in a travel magazine! It was so nice we weren’t especially motivated to leave! The views are incredible and the sunsets are breathtaking. The pool and hot tub are awesome—super clean and inviting! Spacious bedrooms with separate zones for a/c and fans all over (nice if someone wants the breeze but others want a/c). The house had everything we could need for a comfortable stay (even beach mats and sand toys!) Close to the shopping center, beaches, Alii drive restaurants/shopping.

This property’s spectacular views, unique, vibrant landscaping and clean, spacious rooms provided the perfect setting for a wonderful family vacation. Relaxing in the hot tub and using the outdoor shower were highlights and the location was perfect for watching the beautiful Hawaii sunsets. It was truly outstanding in every way.

We investigated other vacation residences, but eventually decided to stick with GMH, and we’re glad we did. As before, the house and grounds were impeccable, and the view was just as we remembered it: magnificent. (It must be quite a chore to clean all that glass!) We took some long trips to Volcanoes National Park, Hilo, and Kohala on this vacation, and the house, with its pool, spa, and air conditioning, was always a wonderful place to return to after being on the road all day. Missed out on the sunset from Mauna Kea because of bad weather; oh well, something to look forward to next year. See you in 2019, GMH!

We didn't expect this encore visit to surpass last year's memorable stay, but it did! Spent more hours in the pool and spa this time, and were happy we did. (Nothing like watching the sun set from the spa, with a glass of champagne in hand!) Discovered the garden, where the owner/management was wise enough to add a bench and tables. Also learned about the pleasures of showering outdoors- didn't even know that was an option last year. Spent a little more time in Kailua town on this trip. Must have tried every fish sandwich in Kona; guess what: they're all good! Our favorite place for breakfast was Lava Java; favorite lunch spot was Huggo's On the Rocks. Speaking of rocks... check out Kona Rocks and Minerals on Ali'i Drive if you're into that sort of thing. There is no question that we've found the right place in GMH. It was such a blast to open that door again, and be greeted by that view. The place just puts a smile on your face. We now think of it as our second home on the Big Island, and have no interest in staying anywhere else. See you next year, GMH!
