Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family with grandchildren (2 year old and 2 month old) rented this house for a week and I can just say we had a amazing time. Beautiful house and a great lanai. Whales and dolphins playing just in front of us, three step to a very child friendly beach and everything you needed in kitchen and the rest of the house. There were no rental cars available, but no problem we walked to the store, restaurants and downtown (about 1 mile to everything). The only miss was that the hot tub did not work. We all would love to come back to this house in the future.

Our family's Christmas at Vista Oceania was magical. My adult daughters were enthralled. So enjoyed our breakfasts overlooking the beautiful Pacific and listening to the waves and feeling gentle breezes at night. Home has everything you could want and more. Convenient to everything. Only surprise was Cruise ship that arrived at 5am and anchored right in front of us. Did not like the intrusion into our paradise and the announcements of departure times into Kona. Did make for some interesting pics. Would definitely go back.

This house was just flat out fantastic!!! It's very clean and well maintained throughout with beautiful tropical landscaping and ocean views that are second to none. From the lani you can see whales everyday and did I mention the beautiful sunsets views as well!! There is also a nice swimming area right in front of the house with clean white sand and lots of small tide pools to be explored. We also took advantage of the close proximity to Kona and walked into town almost every day. The property managers were very nice and offered great information about the local shops and beaches. This was my 10th trip to the Hawaiian islands (5th beach house) and by far is the best accommodations I have ever had!!!

We spent a week here and hated to leave. Lovely home, excellent views, clean and comfortable.. We had everything we needed. Sighted whales every day from the terrace. Red crested cardinals visited everyday as well as mourning doves and saffron finches. Beach is sheltered and perfect for families with children. Sunsets were awesome. Property manager very helpful. We had a wonderful time and would like to come here again when we return. We recommend Blue Seas Cruises for whale watching. Captain is very knowledgeable about the whales. We saw several breach including a mother and calf. Not every experience will be the same as whales will do what they want but the Captain makes every effort to find the whales.. The boat is clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful. Ask them to do their "breaching" dance. Fishhoppers and Bubba Gump have good food and if you get there early, you may be able to get a seat facing the harbor.

Can't wait to return to this awesome vacation home! Best location in this gated community - on the ocean with a one-of-a-kind, secluded sandy beach and lagoon. Floated around in the beautiful pool and spa while enjoying the ocean views and then walked in the sand and swam with the fishes at Keiki Beach - it's enchanting! Upscale and spacious, the home is nicely furnished with all the amenities. Spent all our time outside on the multiple large lanais with incredible beach, bay and ocean views. Super nice, private, large, upper level master suite. Fun and short walk into Kona Village for shopping and dining and activities. A wonderful home at a special place!
