Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this condo! The view is exactly as pictured and we were treated to high surf pounding on the rock wall. The lanai is large and we ate all our meals out there. The condo is equipped with every thing we could have possibly needed, including a booigie board, snorkels and fins, and lots of beach and pool towels. The treat of the day was to head out to the sunset viewing area and watch the sun go down. Spectacular. There was an issue with the food disposal unit, and it was managed promptly and professionally. The bathrooms could use an update, but we really didn't notice. We are from Vancouver Canada, and it was a vacation to remember!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Alli Villas overlooked a beautiful Kona coastline, and for four of us, the two-bedroom, two-bath accommodations worked out great. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the staff wonderfully accommodating. We were able to check in early, which was a huge help to us, when we asked for dishwasher detergent, it arrived that afternoon, and the building manager showed us how to access the gated shoreline. A few things: the swimming pool in the picture is NOT the condo pool; you can access snorkeling off the shore, but it is dangerous; we wish they had supplied four barstool chairs instead of just two for the high table so all four of us could sit and eat together. We highly recommend this condo!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay in Alii Villas 228, the first in Oct 2012 and in April and May 2014. The owners of this condo had put a lot of improvements into this condo since our first visit. We loved the location where we could sit on the lanai and watch the cruise ships come and go, the canoe practices, and other ocean activities. Also in April and May, the lanai is the perfect place to watch the sunset. Sometimes we could see pods of dolphins swimming by. The pool of the neighboring condo units was directly below, and would often get noisy with children playing, but it was not a problem for us. The condo kitchen was full of cleaning supplies and other necessities like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, garbage bags, dish soap. The only thing we had to purchase during our stay was toilet paper and paper towels and, of course, our food and drink. We walked to town almost every day which gave us plenty of exercise. It is a good base for all activities. Plus there was snorkeling gear available at the condo. We loved Alii Villas 228 and hope to return for a future visit.
