Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house but the lanai was the best part. We sat out there to have breakfast and evening cocktails and any time we were not busy. Our firs stay in the Kona area with 8 family members. Cooked most of our meals and enjoyed the ocean. Also easy access to tourist sites. Summed up by this statement: Ability to sleep with the ocean in the background and then fall in the ocean to snorkel.

The kitchen was well appointed and there were supplies for the baths as well. We did have a minor issue (BBQ wasn't working properly) and called KonaCoast Vacations and they immediately came out and replaced it! This is a great product, and was only exceeded by the exceptional customer service offered by KonaCoast. I will be using them again in the near future and will recommend them to all!!

Reviewer Comments: Excellent location in a quiet gated community, 2 minute drive from Kona's restaurants & shopping and very close (a sea wall walk away) from Kona's most popular & child-friendly beach. Ocean front with pool & whirlpool. The whirlpool didn't heat the first day but was promptly adjusted the very next day. Treat to view the cruise ships from our lanai, as well as whales and spinner dolphins. Nicely appointed 2-section house. Excellent stocked kitchen, very nice washer/dryer, grill, even a welcome basket with snacks & coffee. Back section (driveway side) with 3 bedrooms/2 baths is air conditioned. Would definitely stay here again.

And we loved the Kailua Kona Christmas Parade! Food was outstanding. We (I) swam with the dolphins at Two Step. The Aloha spirit is loving and healing and contagious. Thank you so much!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed our very first trip to Kona on the Big Island and our stay at Villa Kai! The home fit our group of 7, including a 5 year old and 2 year old perfectly. We enjoyed Keiki Beach, walking the lava rocks, watching the waves, seeing the cruise ship come in, watching the Kona Sunsets, swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. We loved that the property was so close to town, for access to all the island activities, great restaurants (breakfast at Lava Java Yummy!), and the Farmer's Market. The home also provided easy access to groceries and to the white sand beaches on the northern part of the Island. The home was well appointed and had everything we could have imagined needing during our stay. We renewed our wedding vows, in front of the home during a traditional ceremony performed by Rev. Libby, recommended to us by the property owners. This was a magical stay and a memorable trip we will never forget!
