Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely LOVED this rental!! It was so beautiful, airy, and spacious with so much natural light and a gorgeous view of Kona. Our favorite part was the enclosed lanai where we actually spent most of our time. It was nice being able to feel like we were outside without being bombarded by bugs! We were especially pleased with how secluded we felt with all the trees and plants surrounding the property. It really made it feel like we were completely away from the hustle and bustle of town. Definitely make sure to check out the cafe that is literally at the end of the driveway! It is called Holuakoa Cafe. We were pleasantly surprised when we had stumbled upon it on our walk and were even more pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. All in all, our visit was just about perfect! We will for sure be coming back to stay here again! Thank you so much for sharing you little slice of paradise with us!

I would definitely stay there again when travelling to the Big Island. Beach equiptment provided was very helpful. Snorkel gear, mats, coolers, boogie boards etc. I would advise people to rent a small car though as the driveway is narrow and hard to navigate, I had a minivan but had to exchange it for a versa for peace of mind. Propert management and concierge service were on top of everything and our vacation was wonderful. Mahalo ??

Excellent property, lots of living space, great kitchen and BBQ, nice Lanai, lots of wrap around porch, great decor. If you like being in the midst of the tropics, the Orchid Inn gives you the full experience and the night life lights up when the sun goes down and the night birds and other creatures begin their songs.  We had an excellent time!
