Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed this past week in this home with my husband and my three teenage sons. It was a beautiful well equipped home. The lanai and view were incredible. We played games most nights on the lanai listening to the waves crashing behind us and also enjoyed coffee in the mornings in the same incredible setting. It was very warm when we were there and the home did have AC which was an unexpected bonus for us. We loved the closeness to the airport and the town. There was shopping for groceries very close by (3 teenage boys) and we utilized the gas grill on the lanai as well. Another wonderful I loved was the master was on the main floor and additional bedrooms in the back of the home one flight up. All of the living space was beach side making for a very quiet place for the early risers as well as those sleeping later. We hope to stay there again some day.

The only reason we didn't spend all of our time on the lanai is we had to eat. The kitchen had everything tool needed to make any dish we desired. With three markets to choose from just 3 minutes away any meal was a possibility. With the marina fifteen minutes north and Kona three minutes south all we wanted was near. We did receive what we paid for. Mahalo!

The lanai is the killer feature though- we spent all our time hanging out and dining on the lanai. The keiki beach is perfect for kids and it's a pretty easy walk into town. We'll definitely return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted a place big enough for two families to share and close to a beach for our grandbaby. We didn't realize how perfect this was going to be. We were a few steps from Keiki (Baby) Beach. We could have just hung out at the house everyday and been fully entertained, but it was such a convenient launching point we never did that. We walked to Kona Brewing Co and downtown with our stroller. We ran to jogging paths by the old airstrip. We walked to the FREE public pool for lap swim. We drove south to the volcano and north to Hapuna, resorts, and Lava Lava for sunset. We enjoyed the sunset from our amazing lanai a few times and should have done that every night. It had everything we needed for cooking dinners, blending drinks, or packing a picnic (coolers). It was clean. We never needed air conditioning as we could open it up to breezes from the ocean. Security was very nice. They walked the wall along the shore at night. During the day they were always there to greet us when we were coming and going and seemed to recognize all of us right away. We loved this place and would choose to stay here again for sure!
