Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental was everything we hoped it would be! So spacious & stocked with everything you could possibly need for a house. The kitchen had everything one would need to cook anything. The grill on the patio was so nice to have as well. The master bedroom and bath on the 2nd floor was perfect. TVs w/ DVD players in every room. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Also, one of the reasons we chose this rental was to have access to the private Mauna Lani beach club/beach access. It is the perfect snorkel spot...possibly the best on the island. We hope to go back as many times as we possibly can and we will definitely plan on staying here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was such a great experience finding on VRBO, although we rented directly thru Kona Coast Vacations. They were very prompt through the whole process, emailing us every step of the way to make sure we were well prepared. The concierge (David) was great at booking tours, sending all the info to favorite beaches and restaurants. The townhouse was easy to find, very clean and decorated beautifully. The lanai is privately situated and great views from there, even better from the master suite! Kitchen is nicely set up, we had lots of food from Costco and plenty of room for everything! The location is perfect, short walk to the pool/Jacuzzi/gym. The beach gear - boogie boards, snorkel gear for 4, 2 cruiser bikes, ice chests were all in the garage for us to use. The private Beach Club is a must, the beach and restaurant is fantastic! We strongly suggest visiting Tommy Bahama's for happy hour and the coconut shrimp and coconut cloud martini are to die for! We will definitely book again!! Mahalo

Also it was clean, well-equipped and in a great location. The Lanai with Viking grill were our favorite spot in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. It is close to groceries and shopping. Beach club was really nice- snorkeling there was amazing! Check in, check out process was simple and easy. Kona Coast Vacations folks were nice to work with. They offered to help us line-up activities, but we just did our own thing. I can't think of a single complaint- it was perfect!

I love, love the Big Island...who doesn't? There's so much to see and do and you want to stay someplace that's convenient, restful, quiet, and has everything you need after a day of exploring or being at the beach. We definitely found it here! From the condo the store was just down the road, the private beach club was awesome----cabanas and a beautiful beach for swimming, snorkeling, SUP...friendly folks at the beach too! After the beach we came back to the condo and used the kitchen that's perfect for a group---lots of space and counter chairs to talk and have cocktails while prepping the BBQ food. BBQing on the lanai at sunset was a treat. The condo had everything we needed and lots of room to spread out and relax in the evening. It's soo peaceful and the perfect location to be for the week. Mahalo!!

We spent a very comfortable and enjoyable week at Ka Nohona Kai La'akea during the hot summer season. There were so many advantages to staying here vs staying at a hotel in the area. It was lovely to have a full kitchen and laundry and an added bonus were the bicycles, beach chairs, umbrella, swim equipment (toys, boards, floaties, scuba masks), towels and ice chests available for our use in the garage. We also appreciated the close proximity to a grocery store and coffee shop! The sunset view from the patio is beautiful, as are the Hawaiian inspired furnishings. The house is well-equipped, clean, quiet, air conditioned! The Fairways complex is well-maintained, and the MAUNA LANI Beach Club access was especially wonderful. In all, the condo had everything we needed and we looked forward to returning home each day after exploring the island.
