Kona Vacations was an excellent host! They helped us with our requests. The place was excellent and very convenient.

What a lovely little gem on the Big Island! The condo was impeccably clean, stylish, comfortable, and decked out with everything we needed for our stay. The larger complex is also wonderful. We loved the pools and combed beach area with its shady palms. Plus there is always a friendly social scene on the communal patio at sunset. This was the perfect home base for our vacation, and we would love to come back!

Good location: close to the center of Kona but away from the traffic. Easy access to restaurants and shopping and sightseeing. A beautiful property with 2 saltwater pools, a wonderful ocean view facing due west offering great sunsets. Well appointed with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Gated complex, so car safety was no issue. While the building itself was older, the unit was newly updated with a very modern kitchen and spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We also had access to a concierge service, Kona Concierge, that was awesome!! David made various suggestions and reservations for us to snorkel, hike and sightsee! An invaluable asset. Cell service within the building was weak, so stepping outside was usually necessary to make a call. The Wi-Fi service was very good, but we ran into a snag upon check in with accessing it. The communications we received just prior to our check in gave us various entry codes to parking and the rental unit, including a WiFi network and password. After multiple failed attempts at logging into Wi-Fi, we contacted customer service. They were very friendly and helpful, but in the end had to call the technical staff to come to assist (which they did with 10 mins). Turns out the correct network and password were posted on the kitchen counter all along! Shame on us for not seeing, but shame on rental company for emailing us info just prior to arrival with conflicting (and incorrect) details about how to access Wi-Fi. Anyway, not a big deal in the end and did appreciate their prompt service.
